1.The characteristics of pure cotton fabrics

 

Advantages: sweat-absorbent, breathable, soft, anti-sensitive, easy to clean, not easy to fluff.

Disadvantages: easy to wrinkle, shrink, and deform.

Hygroscopicity: Cotton fiber has good hygroscopicity. Under normal circumstances, the fiber can absorb moisture from the surrounding atmosphere, and its moisture content is 8-10%, so it touches human skin, making people feel soft and not stiff.

Moisture retention: Because cotton fiber is a poor conductor of heat and electricity, its thermal conductivity is extremely low, and because cotton fiber itself is porous.

Heat resistance: Pure cotton fabrics have good heat resistance. When the temperature is below 110°C, it will only cause the moisture on the fabric to evaporate without damaging the fibers.

Alkali resistance: cotton fiber has a high resistance to alkali. When cotton fiber is in an alkali solution, the fiber will not be damaged.

Hygiene: Cotton fiber is a natural fiber, its main component is cellulose, and a small amount of waxy substances, nitrogenous substances and pectin.

 

2.The difference between pure cotton digital and digital chemical fiber

 

Digital printing and dyeing technology is divided into two categories, namely, cotton fabric printing and dyeing technology and chemical fiber fabric printing and dyeing technology. The difference between the two digital printing and dyeing technologies is the ink used and the production process. The printing inks used in the digital printing and dyeing of pure cotton fabrics are divided into reactive dye inks and acid dye inks. The printing inks used in the digital printing and dyeing of chemical fiber fabrics are sublimation disperse dye inks.

The production process of digital thermal transfer printing and dyeing of chemical fiber fabrics is: pattern design → output printing → thermal transfer → finished product.

The digital printing and dyeing process of pure cotton fabric is: pattern design→direct injection→fixing→drying→finished product.

 

3.Production cost and market price analysis

Digital heat transfer is suitable for the production of personalized, small-batch, high-value-added products, while traditional thermal transfer is suitable for the production of products with popular prices.
